As-salaamu `alaykum wa rahmatullah
As much I’d like to update the blog more frequently, unfortunately it’s at times difficult for me to find enough time to make a good job out of it! I’m currently studying abroad and hence my time has been restricted even more so 
However, I’d still like to see the blog updated regularly so if you feel you have a good contribution to make, please get in touch.
A few guidelines on contributions:
- All work must be originally yours. If it’s a translation or adaptation, a link to a source should be provided.
- Articles and contributions should try to follow the general themes/topics posted on blog e.g. Qur’anic Sciences, Shariah Sciences, Arabic, Translations, General Islamic articles etc (please see the blog categories for common topics)
- There’s no size limit for contributions but for longer articles, a (pdf) file could be uploaded.
- Even though I myself may not have been doing this(!), it would be nice to see more academic contributions that involve some research or depth in writing
- You can use a pen-name although I prefer real names (ironic I know, coming from ‘Fajr’!). Anonymous contributions won’t really be accepted unless they are superb
- Currently the number of contributions is limited as I trial run this hehe
Mailing List
Some of you have suggested setting up a mailing list – so Insha’Allah I’ll be setting up a small list where the blog posts will be emailed to you as they are posted up. Other stuff not included in the blog may also be emailed out. It’s like an RSS feed, but less automatic! Alternatively, you can set up a feed via various feeders such as google.
If you wish to be included in the mailing list, please post below in the comments section.
