Contributions & Mailing List
As-salaamu `alaykum wa rahmatullah
As much I’d like to update the blog more frequently, unfortunately it’s at times difficult for me to find enough time to make a good job out of it! However, I’d still like to see the blog updated regularly so if you feel you have a good contribution to make, please get in touch.
A few guidelines on contributions:
- All work must be originally yours. If it’s a translation or adaptation, a link to a source should be provided.
- Articles and contributions should try to follow the general themes/topics posted on blog e.g. Qur’anic Sciences, Shariah Sciences, Arabic, Translations, General Islamic articles etc (please see the blog categories for common topics)
- There’s no size limit for contributions but for longer articles, a (pdf) file could be uploaded.
- Even though I myself may not have been doing this(!), it would be nice to see more academic contributions that involve some research or depth in writing
- You can use a pen-name although I prefer real names (ironic I know, coming from ‘Fajr’!). Anonymous contributions won’t really be accepted unless they are superb
- Currently the number of contributions is limited as I trial run this hehe

JazakAllahu khairan for the great blog you created…Brother I would like sincerely advise this …”If you could afford please host your own website with your own domain name rather than using the free blog by wordpress……because You never know when wordpress will simply delete or disable your blog without even giving any reason…..All hardwork will be lost suddenly one day way if you depend on them….”……I had a very active and huge blog with almost 600 registered members on Ning.com (http://cieindia.ning.com/) last year…..but suddenly they stopped free service and wants to charge 10000 Indian Rupees per month……so now I recreated my own site from scratch…..ie. http://www.hyderabadimuslims.com.
